    The Ethiopian opal is a natural gemstone that is formed in the world's oldest known deposits, located in Ethiopia. The color of Ethiopian opals ranges from blue to green, pink and yellow. It has earned the name "Ethiopian Opal" because it is found in Ethiopia, but not in Australia or anywhere else in the world.
